MEXICAN WEDDING CAKES 

 

These are the cookies we make to remember our wedding. Sweet and worth the work it takes to make them...

just like a good marriage.

 

 

Made from the same dough as Grandma’s Horseshoes, they are rolled in confectioner’s sugar instead of dipped in chocolate.  Visit the Horseshoes Recipe page for ingredients.  Once dough is made, roll into balls and bake on parchment-lined cookie sheets.  Roll twice in confectioner's sugar after baking: once immediately after removing from oven (Careful-- they're HOT!) and again after they have cooled.
